Tucker Durkin is the current Head Coach at Bryn Athyn College.  He attended Johns Hopkins University, where he started all 59 games over his four-year career and was a three-time All-American and two-time William C. Schmeisser Award winner for being the nation’s top defensemen.

Durkin represented Team USA at the 2014 World Championships, where he was selected as the World’s Most Outstanding Defenseman and named to the All-World Team.

Durkin was the third overall pick in the 2013 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft by the Charlotte Hounds and was later acquired by the Hamilton Nationals.  Durkin was named a 2013, 2014, and 2015 All-MLL Defenseman. He currently plays for the Florida Launch in the MLL. This past season, he played in all 14 games for the Launch.

Durkin is a Philadelphia area product.  He played at LaSalle High School, where he was a two-time All-American and an Under Armour All-American selection his senior year.  As a senior, he was also named as “Player of the Year” by  He guided the Explorers to back-to-back Pennsylvania state titles as a junior and senior.
